Princess Holly’s Magic Wand Party Favor

Hi Friends! I have a fun Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom DIY craft to share with you all. An absolute must of our Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom party was incorporating Princess Holly’s magic wand in a prominent way. Holly’s wand is such a major feature in the show. It allows her the ability to use magic (even when it doesn’t always go as planned) in all of her adventures with Ben Elf. I decided to make Princess Holly’s magic wand into a party favor that could hold candies & treats, or even a princess necklace or bracelet.

HOW TO MAKE PRINCESS HOLLY’S MAGIC WAND PARTY FAVOR

First, to create Princess Holly’s magic wand party favor you will need round paper mache decor boxes, large craft sticks, paint brushes, purple and white paint, googly eyes, paint pens, a hot glue gun, and scissors. I found all of these items at Hobby Lobby.

Step 1: Start by painting the round paper mache decor boxes and lids white. Paint only the exterior. There is no need to paint the bottom of the box as we will be covering it in a later step. Let dry completely.

Step 2: Next, mix some of your white paint and purple paint together to create a lighter shade of purple. Paint a light purple ring around the top of the lid as well as on the edges. Let dry completely.

Step 3: Paint the front and back of the large craft sticks purple. Let dry completely.

Step 4: Hot glue two googly eyes on each box lid.

Step 5: With a blue paint pen, outline the perimeter of each googly eye and draw 4 eyelashes on the top and bottom of each eye.

Step 6: Next, with a pink paint pen draw a smile on each face.

Step 7: Cut a six pointed star out of purple craft foam. Now it’s time to assemble our Princess Holly’s magic wand party favor. Hot glue the paper mache box in the center of the star. Then hot glue the large craft stick on the back of the star. Done! So fun and magical! Fill with your favorite candy or party favor of your choice!
