Hi Friends! I’m so excited to share my Nacho Average Taco Truck Birthday Party with all of you today! I originally created this party in partnership with Oriental Trading and Fun365.
As I was working on this party, both Sawyer and Easton had such a fun time playing in the taco truck and buying and selling plush tacos with their “truck bucks.” I quickly realized that with Easton’s 4th birthday right around the corner, this would be a great theme for his actual birthday! So that is the plan, Easton’s Taqueria will be rolling by in the next few days to celebrate Easton’s 4th birthday with our family. He is so thrilled and I think this is such a perfect theme for him…because we all know he’s nacho average little boy!
But first stop, guac and roll!
Let’s check out all of this taco truck birthday party fun!
Ever since Easton’s Drive-In Movie Party last year, I’ve been wanting to create another DIY vehicle for a party. The kids loved the cars from the drive-in so much that I knew they would also love a larger truck where they could actually crawl inside of it to play. When I was looking on Oriental Trading and saw their Pet Mobile Cardboard Playhouse, I knew it would work so well as a taco truck!
I first started by painting portions of the truck. Then, I next moved on to designing all of the truck graphics. I knew I wanted to brand the truck as Easton’s Taqueria so it would be personalized for his birthday. I also wanted to create fun, eye-catching menus for the sides of the truck. I measured the truck and then sized all of my graphics to ensure they would cover all of the existing pet graphics on the Pet Mobile. Lastly, I added the T-A-C-O-S marquee lights and a taco pinata!

Can I take your order?
All the best street fairs better watch out! There is a new food truck in town, Easton’s Taqueria! Our taco truck was definitely the hero of the party. Not only was it the theme and focal point of the party, it also served as a great source of play and activity for the kids. My little taco truck vendors loved dressing the part in their colorful sombreros and aprons. They then took turns “purchasing” tacos with their “Truck Bucks” and serving the orders of plush tacos on individual food trays through the truck window. For safe keeping, all of the “Truck Bucks” fit conveniently in themed taco coin purses. Even Riley got in on the fun (we all know he loves a good party)!

Happy 4th Birthday Easton!
I know this birthday has looked quite different than past ones for you, my sweet boy. (Easton had surgery on Friday and has been home with us recovering so well.) I have always been in awe of your incredibly positive attitude and extreme happiness but these past few days have given me such a deeper view of your strength, bravery and courage. You may be small, but you sure are mighty. I am so inspired by you my sweet Easton Clark. You are wise beyond your years. I am so blessed to be your mama and I thank God everyday for you. I wish you the happiest of birthdays and an incredible year ahead. ❤️
I hope you enjoyed our Taco Truck Birthday Party!
