Hi Friends! Let’s sing loud for all to hear…it’s an Elf Movie Night Christmas Party! I recently created this party for Oriental Trading Fun365 and I’m SO excited to share it with you today. This party is a tribute to my all-time favorite Christmas movie, Elf. I am seriously obsessed with this movie. I have watched it on repeat every December for as long as I can remember. Now I watch it with my boys and they love it too! This party is full of free printables and two fun DIY projects. I hope it inspires you to create an Elf Movie Night this holiday season!
I loved creating the party printables for this celebration! As with most of my parties, I first started with the invitation and then created all of the other pieces. From the backdrop and thank you tags, to the table décor signs and mug inserts, you can make your party even more memorable with these free printable designs!

I also created two fun DIYs for this party. The first is my Elf table centerpiece. This centerpiece illustrates how Buddy travels from the North Pole to Manhattan in the movie. First he travels through the seven levels of the candy cane forest (tree on the left), then he goes through a sea of swirly-twirly gum drops (tree on the right), and lastly he enters New York City by way of the Lincoln Tunnel. Since the snow globe is such an iconic item in the movie, I wanted to make the last part of his journey incorporate a stylized snow globe as well. This centerpiece will drastically dress up your table and become quite a conversation topic!

The second DIY that I created for this party was an Elf Movie Party Coffee Bar. In the movie, when Buddy is in New York City, he sees a sign in a coffee shop window that says “World’s Best Cup of Coffee”. He proceeds to go inside to congratulate all of the employees on their achievement! This is such a funny moment in the movie that I wanted to create my own coffee display to portray it. I created printable signs and inserts to fit inside the DIY mugs. The printables say “World’s Best Cup of Coffee” and “World’s Best Hot Cocoa, Too!” I also painted the wooden serving tray to look like Buddy’s elf suit. This coffee bar was such a fun element at the party!

Hi Ann,
Thank you so much for your message and kind words! I’m so happy you like your Buddy the Elf too. We love Buddy! During the Christmas season every year, I bring out our Buddy and move him around to different rooms. One day he’ll be standing in the hallway, then in one of my boys’ rooms, then the kitchen, bathroom, etc. My kids love it! We get so many laughs out of it! haha! Thanks again for your message!
Have a great day!
