Hi Friends! I’m so excited to share Easton’s “Footprints on the Moon” outer space preschool graduation party with you! 🚀✨ This past year sure was a strange one and certainly not what I envisioned for Easton’s last year of preschool. We absolutely adore the preschool where both Sawyer and Easton went, but this past year we made the decision for me to homeschool Easton. Although some days were hectic and crazy (let’s be real)—it truly was such a blessing and a time I know I will look back on and treasure with my sweet boy. When Sawyer graduated preschool, we had a fun backyard celebration for him and his classmates. This time around, it was so fun to celebrate this milestone moment for Easton too!
I recently heard this quote by Paul Brandt and instantly fell in love with it. I knew it would be a perfect theme for an outer space preschool graduation party for Easton. In planning the party, I first started by designing the large backdrop sign. Then, once I had the design and style established, I created all of the other party printables.
All of the party printables from this outer space graduation party are available in my Etsy shop. Click the button below for all the details!
I had a lot of fun with the foods at the party. I wanted to blend the outer space theme with graduation so we had Saturn’s “class” rings (peach ring gummy candies), “Graduation Rocks” meteorites (rock candy), “Reach for the Stars” melon, and outer space cookies and cream cupcakes.
Mission Accomplished! Congratulations, Easton!
I am so proud of Easton and all ways he grew this past year. The school year was full of curve balls and he really rose to every challenge!
The DIY rocket ship playhouse (*affiliate link) was a fun addition to the party too! It’s made of thick cardboard so you can decorate it any way you want. We covered it with poster board, stars and metallic ribbon.
Of course, Hank had to make an appearance at the party too! Every little astronaut needs a space dog by his side…or a martian pup!
Thanks for checking out our “Footprints on the moon” graduation party! I hope it’s inspired you to create an outer space celebration of your own!
