Hi Friends! It’s October…time for all things Halloween! I have a super cute, non-candy Halloween treat idea to share with you all today…Franken-Slime! The slime craze is still going strong in our house. I don’t know if your kids are anything like mine but my little guys are absolutely obsessed with playing with slime. With Halloween right around the corner, I thought this ooey-gooey pastime would make a fun little Halloween gift. Also, I think it makes a perfect classroom gift or party favor.
HOW TO ASSEMBLE YOUR FRANKEN-SLIME GIFT:
This little Franken-Slime gift idea is so easy to assemble. All you need are small containers of slime, some type of ribbon or twine and the Franken-Slime free printable (located in the printable library). I found these small containers of slime at Target in a 6-pack. They work perfectly!
To assemble your Franken-Slime gifts just follow these 3 steps:
- First, download the free printable that is located in the printable library.*Note: The version of the design that is located in the printable library is non-editable and would need to have a name handwritten on it to personalize. If you would like the editable PDF version of this design—with the ability to personalize the name(s)—it is available for purchase in my Etsy shop, HERE.
- Next, cut out the entire perimeter of the Frankenstein.
- Lastly, place the container of slime in front of the printable and tie them together with a bow! Done! Super easy and a really cute gift!

Where in Target did you find the containers? By chance have a link to see what they are?
Alison says
Hi Lauren,
Thanks so much for your message! The slime was in the party favor aisle at Target. I looked on target.com but I couldn’t find a link. My son is giving these to his classmates for Halloween so I picked some up the other day. I just emailed you a photo so you can see the packaging. I hope this helps.
Thanks again!
