Let me be Frank…these Halloween Frankenstein Brownies are so much fun!
Hi Friends! It’s starting to feel like fall around here! School is back in session and the mornings are cool and crisp. So you know what that means, right? Time to start thinking about Halloween! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I’m so excited to share that I’ve teamed up with HERSHEY and Walmart this Halloween season to share with you all of their super creative and fun candy. Talk about fun—the new collection of HERSHEY Halloween candy is AMAZING!
This year’s HERSHEY Halloween candy collection is full of all of our old favorites as well as some new super clever and unique treats—like the new REESE’S FrankenCup that combines milk chocolate and green colored creme. New HERSHEY’S Vampire Kisses ooze bright red strawberry crème as soon as you bite into them. How cool is that?! Another favorite you don’t want to miss are the new green KIT KAT® Witch’s Brew bars. You can see the whole collection here. Walmart has everything you need to get stocked for the season in a quick one-stop shopping trip. You can also head to Walmart.com or place an order with Walmart Grocery Pickup.
The new collection of HERSHEY Halloween candy is so unique that it really gets the creative food ideas flowing! REESE’S Peanut Butter Cups are such a favorite in our house. When I saw the new green REESE’S FrankenCups, I knew I had to use them to make Halloween Frankenstein Brownies for my family and friends. They were very easy to assemble and turned out pretty cute, if I do say so myself! Below are the step-by-step instructions so you can make them for all the ghouls and goblins in your life this season!
Step 1: Start by baking a batch of brownies according to the directions on the box.
Step 2: After the brownies have mostly cooled, cut them into rectangular pieces roughly the width of a REESE’S FrankenCup.Step 3: Next, unwrap a new REESE’S FrankenCup and place it green-side-up on each brownie. (Note: I pushed each REESE’S FrankenCup gently into the top of the soft brownie a bit so it would be held in place.) Then, cut a few snack- sized HERSHEY chocolate bars into small pieces and put them in a microwave safe bowl.
Step 4: Melt the HERSHEY bar pieces in the microwave. Then, with a toothpick, draw hair on the top with the melted chocolate. Step 5: Next, add eyes with the melted chocolate.
Step 6: Don’t forget to add a scar on Frankenstein’s forehead next!Step 7: To complete the look of Frankenstein’s face, next add a nose and mouth with the melted chocolate.
Step 8: The final step in creating these Halloween Frankenstein Brownies is to add Frankenstein’s signature neck bolts! To do this, just cut two small rectangular pieces from a snack-sized HERSHEY bar and push them into the sides of the soft brownie. Done! So cute, it’s scary!
I hope your family and friends love these Halloween Frankenstein Brownies as much as mine did. They are perfect for gift giving, too! Just wrap them up in a green favor box along with a selection of HERSHEY Halloween candy and attach my “Let me be Frank, you’re the sweetest!” printable tag. No tricks, only treats for your neighbors and friends this Halloween! You will have enough for the whole block with the HERSHEY’S Milk Chocolate – 75-piece assortment and Jumbo bags from Walmart. Everyone is sure to love the spooktacular sweets!
