It’s almost Halloween and I couldn’t be more excited for all of the costumes, parades, parties, trick-or-treating and festive fun! Of course a huge result of all of that trick-or treating is the mountain of candy left over after Halloween night. I remember as a child myself, filling a pillow case full of candy, sorting it on the living room floor, and sampling way too many pieces along the way. It’s a wonderful part of Halloween, and childhood in general. But after all of the excitement of Halloween night, there is always an enormous amount of leftover candy.
I was recently introduced to a super creative, fun way to help your kids avoid the after Halloween sugar crash and pounds of candy leftover after all of the trick-or-treating festivities…meet Halloween Holly!
A huge thank you to Halloween Holly for sponsoring this post. Although I was given Halloween Holly to share, all of my opinions and feelings about (how fun and creative) this book and concept are 100% my own. For more information, see my disclosures, here.
With Halloween only a few days away, I read my kids the story of Halloween Holly and they absolutely loved her. Halloween Holly is a very clever and unique little elf that flies to your home to collect all of your leftover candy in the days following Halloween and takes it back to the North Pole where the candy magically helps energize Santa’s elves as they work hard to make the toys for Christmas. Also, every copy of Halloween Holly comes packaged with her magic bowl as well.
So all of your extra Halloween candy can literally disappear overnight…and your kids can be happy about it!! (Knowing that they are helping to energize Santa’s elves to work on more Christmas gifts that may or may not have their name on them when they arrive under the tree on Christmas morning). My little guys are happy…Santa’s elves are happy…I’m happy!
If you would love to introduce your little ones to Halloween Holly, you can find out more about her here. Also, I am currently running an Instagram giveaway for the winner to receive their own copy of Halloween Holly and her adorable magic bowl. Head over to my post here to enter.
