Hi Friends! Calling all the cool cats and party animals out there…this valentine is for you! I’m so excited to share my Cool Cat Lion Valentine with you all today. You may recognize this king of the jungle from our “Welcome to the Zoo…Easton is Two!” Party Animal Celebration this past summer. That party was so much fun, and the animals were such a hit, that I figured they would make for a super fun valentine as well.

COOL CAT LION VALENTINE

I’m including two different printables as a part of my Cool Cat Lion Valentine idea. The first PDF printable (located in the printable library—more info at the bottom of this post) contains one large lion. This lion is sized to “wear” the fun, plastic glasses.

To assemble this valentine, follow these 4 steps:

  1. The printable is available for free in the printable library. *Note: The version of the design that is  located in the printable library is non-editable and would need to have a name handwritten on it to personalize. If you would like the editable PDF version of this design—with the ability to personalize the name(s)—it is available for purchase in my Etsy shop, HERE.
  2. Next, cut out the entire perimeter of the valentine.
  3. Then, cut two small slits on the sides of the lion’s head to fit the glasses.
  4. Lastly, just slide the sides of the glasses through the slits and fold them closed around the valentine. Done! What a cool cat!

The second PDF printable (also in the printable library) contains 6 small lion tags. These lion tags can be attached to the plastic glasses using ribbon.

To assemble this valentine, follow these 4 steps:

  1. The printable is available for free in the printable library. *Note: The version of the design that is  located in the printable library is non-editable and would need to have a name handwritten on it to personalize.   2. Next, cut out the entire perimeter of the valentine.
  3. Then, use a hole punch and put a hole at the top of the tag.
  4. Lastly, tie a ribbon around the plastic glasses and attach the valentine tag. Done! So fun!
