So today is Wednesday, and every Wednesday I’m going to be sharing with you what I’ve been working on. So even though it is almost February, I figured why not share our 2013 holiday cards.
Our sweet Sawyer is growing so fast, and let’s be real, he is the center of our world, so we figured our card should be all about him. In November, we took a wonderful trip to Marco Island, Florida for a very dear friend’s wedding and decided to make a mini vacation of out it. We had such a fantastic time! We took so many pictures all throughout the trip so when we got home and I looked through all of them I immediately knew I wanted to use a few of them in our holiday card this year.
The trip started with Sawyer’s first airplane ride and he did surprisingly well. Escaping from our cold Pittsburgh weather to soak up some bright Florida sunshine and white sand beaches was exactly what we needed. Here is our trip in a few pictures. (Did I say a few?! I meant a lot…)
We all had such a blast. I loved watching Sawyer play and explore in the sand.
I was so happy that I captured this shot of Sawyer and his Daddy. My boys…be still my heart.
Sawyer thought it was so much fun to wash the sand off of all of the shells that he found.
There were also a lot of wedding festivities all throughout the trip. You don’t have to ask us twice to get dressed up and ready to party!
The wedding was so stunning and amazing. Aren’t the center-lit lucite tables gorgeous?!

Sawyer is at such a fun age right now, his curiosity is off the charts. He is truly a blur of motion, constantly exploring. So I thought creating a little spin off of the traditional “Twas The Night Before Christmas” poem would be a perfect fit for our cards this year.
