I love working with brides. Being engaged and planning the wedding of your dreams is such a special time in your life. I love the opportunity that my job allows me to be a (very small) part of someone’s big day. Being a part of the happiest day in someone’s life is a true treasure. And it is even more special when the bride is a very dear friend. Becka is one of my best friends from college. We were floor mates and then neighbors when we moved into apartments junior year. Eight girls in two side-by-side apartments, constantly in and out of each other’s living rooms. It was all very much like the show Friends. Anyway, back to Becka, she is truly a beautiful person inside and out and I could not be happier for her that she met the love of her life in Mike. They are getting married this summer in Cape Cod. In case you can’t tell, I am pretty excited for this wedding. It will be amazing.
I am currently working with Becka and Mike on their wedding invitation suite. But today, I want to share their Save the Date with you. Becka had the great idea of incorporating a map of Cap Cod into her Save the Date and then sweetly marking the location of the wedding with a simple coral heart. I just love the hand-drawn map paired with the script lettering in the navy blue and white color combination. It is nautical without being overdone, perfect for a summer Cape Cod wedding.
As I was taking these photos my sweet photo assistant was watching with an attentive eye.
LOVEEEE this post!!!! So thankful to have an amazing friend like Alison who has created such a gorgeous Save the Date for us!!! We love it and have gotten SO many compliments on them.
