In the words of Buddy the Elf, “Santa’s coming! I know him! I know him!” Last week I shared my Mrs. Claus treat idea, but today is all about the big jolly guy himself, Santa! The magic of Santa’s hat just got a lot sweeter with this DIY Santa Hat Christmas Treat idea. I think this treat idea is so cute. Perfect for kids, classmates, and neighbors…and a really adorable party favor idea too!

This DIY Santa Hat Christmas treat idea is so simple to put together too. To make this treat, all you need are cone shaped cellophane bags, my Santa printables, and any small candy you’d like. (I really loved these Santa Hat Hershey Kisses for this idea. I thought they were a perfect fit!) The Santa printables are available in my Just Add Confetti Etsy shop. You can find them HERE.

ASSEMBLING YOUR DIY SANTA HAT CHRISTMAS TREAT IDEA

First, print and cut out the Santa printables. Next, pour any small candies into cone shaped cellophane treat bags. Then, simply tape the treat bag to the back of the printable, giving the illusion of the treat bag as Santa’s hat. Lastly, tape the white pom pom to the end of Santa’s hat. Super easy and a really cute Christmas treat! I also created a quick video of how to assemble this Christmas treat idea. You can see it HERE.

      Hi Wendy,
Thanks so much for your message! I used probably a little over half a bag of Kisses for each Santa. I hope this helps!

      Thanks again,
      Alison
