Hi Friends! I have a fun at-home kids activity to share with you today. A few weeks ago I sent an email to all of my email subscribers asking about what types of activities and projects would be the most helpful to you these days as we are all spending so much time at home. Since then, I’ve been working on projects and ideas based on your feedback. Many of you requested kids activities as well as ways to connect with grandparents, friends, and family from a distance. As a result, I created this DIY Puzzle Snail Mail Activity and I really hope it’s something that you find fun and useful.

Print. Color. Cut. Mail.

Making your DIY Puzzle Snail Mail Activity is really as easy as print, color, cut and mail! First download and print the free printable coloring page puzzle (located in the printable library). I have included the puzzle in 2 sizes, 8.5×11 and 11×17. Be sure to print the second page of the PDF as well. It has the poem card that you will mail with the puzzle pieces. Next, kids (and adults, too!) can color the entire design. Then, cut out all 12 puzzle pieces and the poem card. Decide how many pieces you want to mail to the recipient for the first mailing. Then, just add your name to the card and mail the first set of puzzle pieces. Mail the rest of the pieces (in as many mailings as you would like) over the next few days so your recipient can build the entire puzzle. What a fun, interactive activity!

I made this puzzle while thinking of you.
I hope that it’s something you’ll like to do.
Snail mail will deliver pieces each day,
So even from afar we can still play.
