Hi Friends! Today is “rainbow day” at Sawyer’s preschool in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day on Friday. It is also our snack day today, so of course, I had to add to the festivities and fun with a rainbow-themed treat. I made these Twizzlers rainbows last year around St. Patrick’s Day too and Sawyer loved them so I figured I’d make them again. I think they are adorable…and super easy to assemble. (Like realllly simple. Only 3 items to assemble kind of easy!)
Here is the 3 step process of how to assemble these little cuties…I told you it was simple!
First, you will need Rainbow Twizzlers, mini marshmallows and snack bags. I found that rounded treat bags help to keep the shape of the rainbow–but you could even use ziplocs. I bought the rounded treat bags at Michaels Craft Store. They are usually meant for cookie favors.
Step 1: Separate out the Twizzlers into a rainbow…red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple.
Step 2: Place the Twizzlers in the bags.
Step 3: Add some marshmallow clouds and tape the bag shut! Done! 🙂
I hope this little treat puts a smile on your kiddos faces and adds some more fun to your St. Patrick’s Day!
