Hi Friends! From the very beginning stages of planning our Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom party I knew I wanted to make DIY Toadstool Stools! I think they work so perfectly with the look and feel of the party and really added a fun spin to the theme of the kid’s table. These toadstools are so easy to make. They only involve 3 simple steps and no sewing at all! Such a fun IKEA hack! Below are the step-by-step instructions.
To start, you will need IKEA Mammut stools in white, red felt, white self-adhesive felt, foam, tape, and scissors. Besides the stools themselves, I was able to grab all of the other items during a quick shopping trip at Hobby Lobby.
HOW TO MAKE DIY TOADSTOOL STOOLS: STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Cover the top of the stool with foam and tape underneath. Then, in the same way, cover with red felt, taping underneath.
Step 2: Next, cut circles of various sizes out of the self-adhesive white felt.
Step 3: Peel self-adhesive backing off of the circles and place all over the top of the stool to create the look of a toadstool. Done! How cute are they!?!
Now you are ready for all of your little fairy and elf party guests!
