Hi Friends! Today is the last day of school! We officially have a Kindergarten graduate! We’re so proud of our sweet Sawyer. He has worked so hard this year and has grown and become so much more independent. It has truly been a joy to watch. To celebrate the day, I surprised him by transforming our front door into a last day of school finish line. I couldn’t wait for him to come home from school and tear through the banner! He absolutely loved it! I think it’s safe to say we have a new end of the school year family tradition!
If you would like to make your own last day of school finish line I’ve added the free printable banner and flags to the free printable library.
To personalize the banner, just follow these steps:
- First, download the last day of school finish line banner (located in the free printable library).
- You will need to download the free font Antonio to edit the red text. You can download the font (for free) here.
- The printable is a PDF file that contain an editable field (for the grade level). You will need Adobe Reader to personalize the sign. If you don’t have Adobe Reader you can download it for free here.
- Open the PDF in Adobe Reader. Click where it currently says “Kindergarten Finish Line” and type any grade level(s) you would like.
- Lastly, just click “save” and print.
I can’t forget about our last day of school pictures. I can’t believe how much Sawyer has grown and changed from the first day of school. Also, I just love that he told me he wants to me an entrepreneur when he grows up! haha! What 6 year old wants to be an entrepreneur?! I love it!! This last day of school sign printable is also available for free in the printable library.

I love this idea!! Where or how did you print the banner?
Alison says
Hi Becca,
Thank you so much for your message! I really appreciate your kind words! The banner is 72 inches X 9.3 inches. I actually printed it from my home printer on 5 sheets of 11×17 paper and then taped them together into the banner. You can do this by selecting the “page tiling” feature in your print settings. I hope this helps!
Thanks again so much!
Alison

I don’t see the page tiling feature anywhere. Do you have any other suggestions for printing?
Alison says
Hi Nikki,
Thank you so much for your message! If you download the PDF printable and take it to any local print shop they should be able to do the page tiling feature too. You could call the print shop and ask too. In your print settings it’s under Scaling>Tile Full Pages.
I hope this might help!
Thanks so much!
