Hi Friends! Happy Monday! I’m back today with Day 6 of our “Just Add Confetti’s 10 Days of Kids Valentines.” I can’t think of a better way to start the week than by hanging out with these cuties…yes, it’s all about the sloths today! This Sloth Kids Valentine is so sweet! My little guy, Easton, is sloth obsessed. This past Christmas, Santa brought him a sloth stuffed animal almost as big as he is. He sleeps with it every night! If you have a sloth-lover in your life this is the valentine design for you. The step-by-step instructions are below. Also, if you missed any days in the first week of our series here they are again — Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4, and Day 5!
To make this Sloth Kids Valentine you will need the free printable (located in the printable library) as well as pencils, scissors and an xacto knife.
To assemble this Sloth Kids Valentine, follow these 4 steps:
- The printable is available for free in the printable library. *Note: The version of the design that is located in the printable library is non-editable and would need to have a name handwritten on it to personalize. If you would like the editable PDF version of this design—with the ability to personalize the name(s)—it is available for purchase in my Etsy shop, HERE.
- Next, cut out the entire perimeter of the leaves and sloth’s body.
- Then, using an xacto knife, carefully cut out the two white spaces in between the sloth’s arms and the leaves (see photo).
- Lastly, slide a pencil into the openings that you just cut with the xacto knife. Done! How cute!
