Hi Friends! It’s Day 2 of “Just Add Confetti’s 10 Days of Kids Valentines.” Let’s shell-ebrate! haha! Today, I’m sharing my Mermaid Kids Valentine! This little cutie is so fun…and super easy to assemble. The step-by-step instructions are below. Also, if you missed Day 1 be sure to check it out here (and enter the giveaway!)
To make this Mermaid Kids Valentine you will need the mermaid free printable (located in the printable library—more info at the bottom of this post) as well as lip kazoos, scissors and an xacto knife. I found the lip kazoos at Dollar Tree in a 6-pack for $1.
To assemble this Mermaid Kids Valentine, follow these 4 steps:
- The printable is available for free in the printable library. *Note: The version of the design that is located in the printable library is non-editable and would need to have a name handwritten on it to personalize. If you would like the editable PDF version of this design—with the ability to personalize the name(s)—it is available for purchase in my Etsy shop, HERE.
- Next, cut out the entire perimeter of the Mermaid Kids Valentine.
- Then, using an xacto knife, carefully cut a rectangle big enough to fit the back of the lip kazoo snugly.
- Lastly, slide the lip kazoo into place. You might want to apply a piece of tape on the back to secure it more fully. Done! How adorable!
