Hi Friends! I am so thrilled to share my “Love You to Pizzas” Valentine’s Day pizza party with you all today. I created this party in partnership with Oriental Trading and it was such a fun one!!
A huge thank you to Oriental Trading Company for sponsoring this post. Although I was given resources to create this party, all of my opinions and feelings about (how fun and creative) their products are 100% my own. For more information, see my disclosures, here.
These mustaches were so fun! The kids loved them!! And when paired with the chef aprons and hats…our little pizza chefs were ready to make and bake a delicious lunch!
“Love You to Pizzas” Valentine’s Day pizza party: The Theme
As soon as I saw all of the fun pizza products available at Oriental Trading I immediately knew a fun, bright pizza party was in our future! This party was a blast! The kids loved being little chefs and making their own pizzas. I tried to keep the color palette to red, white, yellow/gold and tan…and of course lots of hearts and red and white gingham!
These plush pizzas were a perfect addition to the table. They doubled as perfect party favors too!
“Love You to Pizzas” Valentine’s Day pizza party: The Food
The food for this party was so simple. I picked up some fresh pizza dough from a local shop and we topped our pizzas with all the fixings…sauce, cheese, green peppers and pepperoni. Also, I made some very simple “pizza” sugar cookies. The kids also got a huge kick out of the “marshmallow mozzarella balls” (giant campfire marshmallows).
The fun thing about the food was that it became a great activity…rolling out the dough, shaping it into a heart, adding all the toppings and arranging them exactly the way they wanted. It was great!
“Love You to Pizzas” Valentine’s Day pizza party: More Valentine Fun!
If you’ve been following along on Just Add Confetti for very long you know I had to create some fun designs for the party, too. The printables for our “Love You to Pizzas” Valentine’s Day pizza party included: “You are a-dough-able valentine!” tags, “I mustache you…will you be my valentine?” toppers, pizza box check box labels, “You have a pizza my heart” tags, and 3-D pizza boxes. I’ll be posting a full tutorial about the 3-D printable boxes within the next few days. (They are very easy to assemble, just need a bit more explanation.) But you can get all of the other free printable designs by filling out the form at the bottom of this post!
These pizza necklaces and pizza erasers were the perfect size to fit in the mini pizza boxes. They made for a fun favor too…a take-out pizza for later! haha! Also, the pizza cookies were another great option too!

Hi Ashley,
Thanks so much for your message! The pizza boxes were from our local pizza shop. When I went in to pick up the pizza dough for the party I just asked for a few extra boxes. They gave me several and said it was no problem at all! Super easy!

The big pizza boxes from your local restaurant had the fun valentine themed check boxes already in them?
Alison says
Hi Cheryl,
Thanks so much for your message! No, the valentine themed check boxes are a part of the free printables located at the bottom of the post. I just glued them onto the pizza boxes from our local pizza shop. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Have a great night!
