I’m so excited to share my Surprise Easter Egg Hunt Gift Idea with you! Also, if you missed Day 1 in the series yesterday you can see it here. I am a big fan of dropping off surprises and goodies on the front porches and doorsteps of family and friends. At this time in our world, it’s a safe way to celebrate with loved ones (from a distance) and it’s also just FUN! You might remember my hot air balloon Easter egg hunt idea from last year. Well Cottontail Express Mail is on the move this Easter. Fueled by carrots, our little mail bunny is making his hop deliveries —dropping off goodies and hiding eggs on doorsteps and front porches.

This surprise Easter egg hunt gift idea is really easy to assemble. All of the Cottontail Express Mail stamps and letter from the bunny are available in my Etsy shop HERE. The number area is editable on the bunny’s letter too. Personalize with any number of eggs you plan to leave in the yard. Then, simply print and cut out the stamps and letter. (Tip: Use a hole punch along the edge of the stamp printables to create the scalloped edge in no time!) Tape or glue the stamps on the outside of a large envelope and place the letter from the bunny inside. I used a large felt envelope that I purchased at Target but any envelope would work well. Leave the envelope and some Easter goodies on the doorstep of friends and neighbors. Then hide plastic eggs in the front yard filled with Easter treats! What a fun surprise!
