Hi Friends! Welcome to Black Cats and Pointy Hats Donut Shop! I’m so excited to share this simple and fun Halloween celebration with you! You might recognize this room as our home classroom that I posted about last month. Well since my boys won’t be able to have their traditional Halloween parties and festivities at their schools this year I decided to bring the fun to our at-home classroom! I took over a little corner of our classroom and converted it into a Halloween donut shop. It was so much fun! I hope you love all the fun Halloween donut ideas! Also, if you’d like to recreate this party in no time, all of the party printables from this celebration are available in my Etsy Shop here. I hope you can use the ideas and designs this Halloween. I think, now more than ever, it’s so important to continue making fun memories with our kids and families.
Also, since Halloween will be here before you know it, I’ve teamed up with some other bloggers to share even more Halloween inspiration and ideas. Be sure to check out my Instagram post on October 5th for #headinwithus and a ton of awesome Halloween ideas. I’m also listing some great blog post links at the bottom of this post. Be sure to check them out!
Now, stop in for a spell at our Halloween donut shop!
Halloween Donut Ideas
Of course, the star of the show at Black Cats and Pointy Hats Donut Shop are a spooktacular selection of Halloween donuts! The donuts on our menu included:
Black Cat Mini Donuts: These adorable sweets were made from chocolate frosted mini donuts and then I added green m&m’s for the eyes and an orange Sixlet for the nose. Then, I made the ears and whiskers out of black modeling chocolate.
Spider Donuts: Made from a chocolate frosted donut hole with pretzel legs and candy eyes, these little spiders are so cute, it’s scary!
FANGtastically Easy Glazed Donuts: These donuts are SO easy to assemble and super fun! Just add jumbo candy eyes on the top of a glazed donut and then place plastic fangs in the center hole of the donut. Then, display all of the donuts on a donut board. Done! So simple, yet really festive for Halloween!
I hope you enjoyed our Black Cats and Pointy Hats Donut Shop! If you use any of these ideas, I’d love to see them! Please tag me on Instagram. I love connecting with all of you and seeing your awesome celebrations!
